Vantron VOSM720 System-on-Module (SoM)

The Vantron VOSM720 System-on-Module (SoM) is a high-performance Computer-on-Module developed for edge AI, machine vision, smart retail, healthcare, multimedia, and industrial IoT applications. Powered by the MediaTek Genio 720 (MT8391) processor, it combines two Arm® Cortex®-A78 cores with six Cortex®-A55 cores, an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and a MediaTek 8th-generation NPU delivering up to 10 TOPS of AI performance. The module features 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 64GB UFS 3.1 storage (optional 128GB), and measures 45 × 45 mm. It also offers an extended product lifecycle of 7+ years for long-term deployments.
 
The module provides a comprehensive range of high-speed interfaces, including PCIe 2.0, USB 3.0, DisplayPort 1.4a, eDP 1.4, dual MIPI CSI-2, MIPI DSI, TSN-enabled Gigabit Ethernet, SDIO, SPI, UART, I²C, PWM, GPIO, and ADC interfaces for flexible system integration. Supporting Android and Linux Yocto, with optional BlueSphere MDM for Android device management, the VOSM720 is well suited for AI-powered vision systems, digital kiosks, smart retail, medical imaging, intelligent edge gateways, and next-generation embedded AI applications requiring high computing performance and low power consumption.
