The Vantron VOSM520 Open Standard Module (OSM) is a high-performance Computer-on-Module developed for edge AI, industrial automation, smart retail, healthcare, multimedia, and next-generation IoT applications. Powered by the MediaTek Genio 520 (MT8371) processor, it combines two Arm® Cortex®-A78 cores with six Cortex®-A55 cores, an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, and a MediaTek 8th-generation NPU delivering up to 10 TOPS for AI inference and on-device generative AI workloads. The module integrates 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 64GB UFS 3.1 storage (optional 128GB) and measures 45 x 45 mm, complying with the OSM Size-L specification for simplified carrier-board integration and scalable embedded product development.

 

The module provides TSN-enabled Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe Gen2, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4a, eDP 1.4, MIPI DSI, dual MIPI CSI-2, UART, SPI, I²C, I²S, SDIO, PWM, GPIO, and ADC interfaces for flexible system integration. Supporting Android and Linux Yocto, with optional BlueSphere MDM for Android device management, the VOSM520 enables rapid development of intelligent edge devices while providing long-term availability, compact integration, and reliable performance for AI-driven embedded systems.
