Vantron VOSM255A Open Standard Module (OSM)
The Vantron VOSM255A Open Standard Module (OSM) is a compact Computer-on-Module developed for industrial automation, edge AI, intelligent HMI, medical devices, smart factory control, and embedded IoT applications. Powered by the STMicroelectronics STM32MP255A heterogeneous processor, it combines a dual-core Arm® Cortex®-A35 running at up to 1.5GHz, a Cortex®-M33 for deterministic real-time processing, and a Cortex®-M0+ for ultra-low-power operation. Integrated VeriSilicon GC8000UL GPU and up to 1.2 TOPS NPU provide hardware acceleration for graphics and AI inference. The module features 1GB DDR4 memory, 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage, and measures 30 x 45 mm, complying with the OSM Size-M specification for compact, scalable embedded designs.
The module provides dual TSN-enabled Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe 2.0, USB 2.0, 4-lane MIPI DSI, 2-lane MIPI CSI-2, CAN FD, SDIO, UART, SPI, I²C, GPIO, PWM, ADC, audio interfaces, and integrated Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth® 5.4 support. Running Linux Yocto and protected by Arm TrustZone® security technology, the VOSM255A enables reliable long-term deployment while simplifying carrier-board development for industrial control, predictive maintenance, edge gateways, smart infrastructure, and next-generation embedded AI systems.
