The Vantron EPC-R680E Expandable Vision AI Box PC is a high-performance industrial computing platform developed for AI-powered machine vision, automated inspection, and intelligent quality control applications. Supporting Intel® 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Core™ desktop processors, it delivers the computing performance required for demanding edge AI workloads. The system supports GPU expansion through a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, enabling advanced AI inference and image processing. With up to 96GB DDR5 memory, dual front-accessible 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bays, SATA RAID support, and multiple M.2 expansion slots, the EPC-R680E offers exceptional scalability for industrial deployments. It supports Windows 10/11 IoT, with Linux available upon request.
Designed for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments, the EPC-R680E provides extensive connectivity including one Gigabit Ethernet port, four 2.5GbE PoE+ ports for industrial cameras, six USB 3.2 ports, isolated serial interfaces, CAN, DI/DO, and support for optional 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GNSS modules. The system supports up to four independent 4K displays through HDMI and DisplayPort outputs and includes TPM 2.0, Intel® iAMT, Wake-on-LAN, PXE boot, a watchdog timer, and hardware monitoring for secure and efficient remote management. Its fanless IP50 enclosure, wide 9–60V DC power input, and operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C (35W CPU configuration) ensure dependable operation in demanding industrial installations while providing a scalable platform for long-term edge AI deployments.
