Vantron VOSM6490 System-on-Module (SoM)
The Vantron VOSM6490 System-on-Module (SoM) is a high-performance Computer-on-Module designed for edge AI, machine vision, robotics, intelligent HMIs, and advanced industrial IoT applications. Powered by the Qualcomm® QCS6490 octa-core Kryo™ 670 processor running at up to 2.7 GHz, it combines an Adreno™ 643 GPU, a Hexagon™ 770 NPU delivering up to 12 TOPS, and a Hexagon DSP for AI inference, computer vision, and multimedia processing. The module features 8GB LPDDR5 memory, 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, and measures 45 × 45 mm. It also offers an extended product lifecycle of 7+ years for long-term deployments.
The module exposes a comprehensive set of high-speed interfaces, including PCIe 3.0, USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 2.0, 4-lane MIPI CSI, 4-lane MIPI DSI, eDP 1.4, SDIO, SPI, UART, I²C, GPIO, PWM, and audio interfaces through the standard OSM connector. It supports Android 15+ and Linux (upon request), with optional BlueSphere MDM for Android device management. The VOSM6490 is well suited for AI-enabled vision systems, autonomous mobile robots, smart retail, patient monitoring, industrial automation, and other embedded applications requiring powerful AI processing in a compact module.
