Integrity policy at HIGHTECH NORDIC AB

The protection of your personal data is of the utmost importance to us. We will use information that can identify you. This privacy policy specifies the type, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of the personal data that you choose to share when you communicate with us by phone, email and letter and when you visit HIGHTECH's website (below called "website”). Please note that it is not a requirement that you provide personal data in order to be able to use our website.

Any person whose personally identifiable information is collected, registered or used by HIGHTECH, has the right to know how the information is stored, used and transferred, and has the right to access and control the use of this information (according to the Personal Data Act 1998:204 and from and with the 25 May 2018 the general data protection regulation, hereinafter "the law"). The personal data controller according to the law is HIGHTECH NORDIC AB, 559097-1437 (hereinafter referred to as "HIGHTECH", "we" or "us"). Our supervisory authority is Datainspektionen ( If you believe that we have processed your personal data in violation of this privacy policy or applicable laws and regulations, you have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Data Protection Authority.

This privacy policy is not applicable to other websites. We therefore encourage you to read the privacy policies that are applicable to other websites you visit.

By visiting our website, you accept and consent to the processing and procedures described in this policy.

1. Information collected through use of our website and use of the information

a. Contact form

Our website gives you the opportunity to provide us with information by filling in a contact form, for example to sign up for our newsletter, request a quote, to receive information about our services/products or to register your interest in a vacant position at HIGH TECH. The information you then provide to us may include your name, address, email address and telephone number, age, date of birth as well as information about your employer, your role and the type of interests you have in our products and services.

We use this information to:

provide you with information, products and services that you request;

provide you with information about other goods and services we offer that are similar to those you have already booked, rented, purchased or inquired about (unless you have asked us not to provide you with such information);

provide you or allow selected third parties to provide you with information about goods or services that we believe may be of interest to you (if you have consented to this);

customize your experience on our website and ensure that our website is displayed in the most efficient way for you and on your computer.

Keep in mind that data transmission via the Internet (eg communication via e-mail) poses a security risk. Therefore, complete protection against third-party access to transmitted data cannot be guaranteed.

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications directly from us at any time by unsubscribing online, calling or emailing customer service. NOTE: even if you opt out of marketing communications, you may still receive administrative communications from us, such as order confirmations and other important communications. If you do not want advertising from us in social networks (e.g. Google and Facebook), adjust this in the respective network.

b. Log information

When you visit our website, we collect standardized internet log information and details about the visitor's behavior patterns, such as:

date and time of your visit

type and version of the browser you are using

operating system

the complete URL clickstream to, through, and from our website (e.g., websites you have visited and products you have viewed or searched for, website response times, download errors, length of visit to certain pages, page interaction (e.g. eg scrolling, clicks and mouseovers) and methods used to scroll away from the page)

the time zone setting, browser extension and system administration version.


This anonymous data enables us to further develop and improve our website. We will not attempt to discover your identity as a result of your visit to our website. We also will not link data collected in this way with personally identifiable information from another source to identify you.

C. Use of Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer to facilitate analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by these cookies, such as time, location and how often you visit our website, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored there.

According to Google, the IP address sent by your browser is never linked to other data held by Google.

Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on your activity on our website for us and provide us with other services related to website and internet use. We use this information for statistical purposes. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or to the extent that this data is processed by third parties on Google's behalf.

2. Storage and transfer of information to third parties

We will store your information on our secure servers and may share your personal data with third-party service providers who help us target specific audiences, tailor marketing, and improve and optimize our website.

We may transfer the personal data we collect from you to a destination outside Sweden and, in some cases, outside the European Economic Area (EEA) if it is necessary for the purposes of processing we have described above (including where we transfer your personal data to third parties). In these cases, it may happen that personnel operating outside the EEA who work for us or one of our suppliers process your personal data. Your personal data is only processed by authorized personnel in the performance of their duties and depending on the purposes for which your personal data has been collected.

3. Links to other websites

This privacy policy does not cover links on our website that link to other websites. We recommend that you read the privacy policies of other websites that you visit.

4. Changes to our Privacy Policy for Online Services

HIGHTECH may make changes to this privacy policy from time to time. Changes are announced via updates on our website. We recommend that you regularly visit our website to ensure that you agree to any changes or additions.

5. Access to your personal data/right to correction and deletion

By law, you have the right to request information about what personal data we have about you.

If the information we have about you is out of date or incorrect, you have the right to request an update and correction of the data. You may also have the right to request the erasure of personal data we hold about you, provided we do not have a legal obligation to retain the data or a legitimate interest in retaining such data that weighs more heavily.
